Readyfor Tollers’ primary focus is to preserve the integrity of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

To ensure the health of our litters we produce, we have built our kennel on foundation bloodlines requiring all potential parents we breed to have a Hip certification of “Excellent” or “Good,” and Elbows certified as “Normal” by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). They are also required to have OFA clearance of the Eyes and Heart, as well as DNA testing and OFA certification for Progressive Retinal Atropy (PRA) and Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Juvenile Addison’s Disease (JADD), Cleft Palate Type 1 (CP1), Cleft Palate/Lip/Syndactyly (CLPS), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Degenerative Encephalopathy (DE), and Chondrodystrophy/ intervertebral disc disease Risk (CDDY/IVDD) status.
